Thanksgiving 2017 Adventures Day 2.5

In the afternoon we went to a new mall that had 'Berry Town' in it. This is like a mini-Kidzania (Bangkok kids town). You get a passport and make or spend money depending on what shop you go to. 

They earned money as postal workers: 

The kids split up based on interest, some became vets..

Others firefighters:

 
Yes, they actually got on a little truck and drove to a "fire"

Isabella, Gabrielle, and our friends also made cakes!

Sophia decided to become a dairy farmer:

I just really liked the outfit.

The cows were fake and huge but made a really good life-like MOOO. But they only seemed to produce water.

Tobin and E took turns at construction work, steering this 'big' crane.

and then on our way out, Sophia and Tobin showed they could act like frogs on lily pads too. 

Love these kids. 

Thanksgiving 2017 Adventures Day 2

 We braved the rain to go on a hike the day after Thanksgiving. Actually the rain stopped for the 1.5 hours we were on the mountain. It was beautiful.

We loved every piece of this hike.

There was a tea farm up here.

 And what seemed like some sort of guest house.

The adventures just kept getting bigger. And with great company, this time was a treasure!
After this we went and ate delicious pulled noodles, by then it was raining good and the fare warmed our souls!

Thanksgiving 2017 Adventures Day 1.5

On the way to our Thanksgiving meal, we saw this crossing the bridge...

Glorious.

 Kids ate first, by great design.

Our crew of kids had made these Indian head dresses earlier in the day.

And decided on the braids...

During kids movie time, the adults had their go at overeating.

 Great time of connecting and reconnecting with folks.

And then the dessert course...oh my YUM. 

And this sweet friend ended up sick that night. She was better by morning and kept up with us on our adventures...

 A truly blessed Thanksgiving Day. Love these peeps.
