USA: Family photos on the beach, Sept

The Crafts. Beautiful.

 Our fam!

The whole crew.

 One of my faves.

Prom pose.

Soph reenacts the lifeguard duties she saw performed. Looking out.
Tap the head, the signal in the water for 'all is okay' or something like that.

USA Chronicles: more beach! Sept

For our week long stay at the beach Poppy and CC rented the place next door to theirs for our family. It was well, FABULOUS. Soph looked so small in our huge bed, I had to get a picture.

These girls were ready to beach it early every day.

We always made friends with other families too, Sophia being NOT shy and all. Here Bella loves the little pool of water. CC worked with her to get her more keen on water activities. She really did love it by the end.

My sunhat and me, with me always. Tobin loved the ocean and sand.

One of our first nights there, David's parents gave us a very nice gift to celebrate his earning another Master's degree. It was super special and we were very surprised! Thanks and more thanks!

This is the life, enjoying the porch.

CC took Bella on many walks to get her closer to the water.

 Tobin dug himself in.

It was a bright and sunny day.

We saw the WB lifeguards (known to be some of the East Coast's best?!) in action three times. We learned their signals, and realized they were cautious. No one seemed to be in a life threatening situation, everyone walked it in. It was very interesting to watch.

We went to a park one night and enjoyed the evening and all the kids playing.

He really just cracks me up.

Coker Craft families. I love Sophia trying to get Tobin to look at the cam.

One of the reasons Ryan loves Sophia so much: she is a fun jokester.
They are having a little chit chat while Tobin and Bella look on.

Then she kisses him.

Then she kisses Tobin. And I love this: Ryan is touching his face where she kissed him (a kiss from Sowea!)
These cousins had fun together!

On this day it was cooler (me: FREEZING).

But the kids still had a blast on their mountain of sand.

 Snack time.

The Coker kids sure do love the beach.

Though Lee was working hard on school assignments, it was great to get some time to hang with him too.

Lee takes on the littles.

This face is his "I am mischievous but so cute it doesn't matter" look.

Our last evening there we got to hang out with Katie, one of Laura's friends, and her son Eli.

Eli and Sophia get along really well.

Bye Bye Atlantic Ocean, until next time... (that is Bella down there near the water, this was a huge improvement to be almost in the water and all alone, good job girl!)
