Isabella and Sophia (and on Fridays AB) came to the girls' bedroom-turned-Gym
They all did awesome as we did strength drills (planks, candlesticks, rope climbs, wall stands, etc.), and really improved on their progression of tumbling skills as well.
Here is what the room looked like, the rope in the corner.
Sophia could not climb the rope without a spot at the beginning of our summer but by the end she nailed it!
The trampoline helped build confidence with some skills as well, but the goal was to stick it on the floor or beam. They even started to do back walkovers with a spot on the beam!
For soccer we did a lot of touch drills. We have been teaching our kids back yard soccer for a long time. But these fun drills that really focus on ball control helped our kids a ton this summer! Tobin, CS, Sophia, and Isabella (Gabrielle would jog some and play around us) had fun learning lots of different pull-back, turns, and take-on moves. Not to mention the mini-games we played to practice going to space.
