One day we ventured on a tuk tuk, sky train, and bus to the mall with Ikea.
As my friend put it: 'The Cokers and M family took on Ikea and Ikea won'. That is about right.
The most amazing thing about the Ikea trip was running into a dear friend who used to live in our city. She had helped start up so much for us there. She now has two kids and is doing well. We literally stood in the rug aisle and caught up for 30 minutes. This was such a blessing.
How many can you fit in a tuk tuk? Safe? Not so much.
The following day, which could have been perhaps the coldest day ever in Bangkok, we went to a water park. Seriously. The Accu weather forecast, which we renamed INaccu weather or accu-ish, called for mid 80s and sun on and off. It was about 70 (or below), windy and rainy. But the kids ventured in anyway and all had lots of fun. Bella, by this time was starting her ear/throat infection and G was just plain cold, so we got out (honestly I was never quite 'in' the water) and cuddled in towels while David took Tobin down the lazy river a dozen times and Sophia kept on the bigger slides.
