Sophia discovered the broom today, she has seen us use it daily, she even managed to get under the couch, really she was just moving the dirt around but it is a start!
A TRIP TO THE PARK:
We decided on a family outing to the 'park/zoo' it is basically like an arboretum with tons of trees and flowers, then loads of bamboo, a couple of monuments, a small lake, peacocks, and some very interesting monkeys, which will show up here on video in the next post or so. Or if you cannot wait, Julie Sylvester can do a pretty good impression of them :). Here are some things of interest that we saw....
"Slip Carefully" really says, "Be careful, Slippery"
"take care, fall into water carefully" what they mean is, "be careful not to fall into the water."

Spphia really likes elephants but I think she thought this one was alive as she would not sit by my side and would not touch him.
She loved the peacocks and even could say it pretty well too.

the bamboo back in here is magnificent
after we were entertained by the monkeys we hit the playground. Sophia did not like the tire swing, but she loved the slide. Afterwards we went to McDees for lunch. Just kidding we do not have a McDonalds, but we went to our town's best attempt at western food. We ate chicken sandwiches (spicy), and fries, Sophia ate nuggets and loved them. We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect and it was a two minute bike ride from our house!
