Somewhat at the last minute we decided to go visit my Grandma and Grandpa (my mom's parents) and my Aunt Lynn and Uncle Tim. I had no idea they lived just over an hour from where we were in Georgia, so we called and they were happy to host us for part of the morning. We had not seen them in years, and they got to meet all of our children. This was a very fun, though short reunion. We promised next time we would stay a longer and plan better.
Here Lynn and I reminisce about when I was in middle school and we (my sis and I) visited them one summer and she took us on our first 'toilet papering' of someone's house. Do people still do that? We had a blast and her quote: 'we did a bang up job too'. LOL.
The kids with their great grandparents!
Next stop was with Martha Lou. This is David's Great Aunt. She is precious. She told Sophia that she would be her granny since Myra Belle (David's Grandma) died.
And more special people who love and support us so well: Uncle Dan and Aunt Emily (David's great uncle and aunt).
And last but certainly not least on our GA tour was visiting Uncle Henry and Aunt Sara! They care for us so well. They surprised Soph last time showing this bear rug, and she never forgot it (she was actually a bit scared of it 2 years ago). So, it was quite hilarious this time, seeing the girls interact with the bear, brought out on a cart, right at their level.
Drama queen, she thought this so funny!
Uncle Henry and Aunt Sara gave the girls cards, and they loved them.
So special. Bella has a big busted lip from when she ran after cats in the driveway of my grandparents house. Lots of blood, but all was okay....
Tobin was squirmy.
We had a wonderful meal with them and always have great conversation.
These folks are super special to us. We Know they are always thinking of us and it encourages us more than they will ever know. Thanks Henry and Sara!
