We did a little school on the Friday after Thanksgiving and then fully decorated for Christmas on Saturday. The kids LOVE this time of year. They love to give (and receive) gifts, and the beauty of it all. We have very simple Christmas traditions that try to point our children to the beauty of Immanuel, God with us. And while we hate being away from family, we love being here, where it is easier to keep it simple and focused.

Even Tobin did a great job of putting our ornaments on the tree. This year he participates in all of our advent activities at night...he is growing up!
