Piano lessons

 The girls begged to learn piano and we waited and waited. Then in August we took the plunge, not knowing at all how it would fit in our schedule. So far it has, loosely.
They were so excited the first few weeks, then it got a little hard. But they are doing great. Progress is slow because they really only practice about 15 minutes a day, and I am no help. David has had a very busy few weeks so it has been tough. But they are getting it.
We will up their practice time this week, and though they sometimes bemoan it, they love it when they do master a hard part.

Teacher Wang is great. He is funny, light-hearted and helps them understand concepts with really good analogies. He sets them at ease and this is the kind of teacher I wanted, not a drill sergeant that expects perfection.
