Don't worry we gave them some food, water, and a few toys.
With the kids all packed up we just don't know what to do with ourselves.
Oh yes, out they came. No worse for wear.
See, everyone is okay. Don't have us committed.
Even blue-eyed Toby-oby had fun (check out his big hands!).
Seriously, we let them play in these boxes for about half an hour and then packed them full of stuff. I am embarrassed to say how many boxes we have packed and how our home still looks pretty lived in and very livable. We definitely need to pare down some. Now would be the time to do it, but we are too busy! And while we are feeling a little stress from moving apartments in a month, there is no better time. At least right now I am not pregnant, nursing, or have a newborn.
Our general timeline of things going on these summer months (very general):
June 10-15: David travels
June 16: Bella turns 3
June 22-24 (or 26: mommy may have a getaway trip)
June 30: Sophia turns 5
July 1-9: travel to Thailand
July 10-Aug1: move, move, settle
Aug 1-6: David travels
Aug 7-Oct 6: in the States
Meanwhile, Sophia is in Chinese school until mid-July and we continue to do reading, writing, and math at home (very loosely), they also have their Chinese tutor come to play 4-5x a week, and I am trying to prepare for fall homeschooling a kindergartener and preschooler, while toddler Tobin runs around (though at 14 months he is not yet walking, but likes to climb and stand on stools). This prep hasn't really started yet, and honestly based on the calendar they may all be in high school by the time I prep for their kindergarten.
That is the way these days are feeling, rushed but fun. Don't worry we do stop and take deep breaths sometimes, trying to fill our lungs with thankfulness and joy. If they are not filled with that things sure do get stuffy and stinky pretty fast. That's what I am learning these days: Inhale. Exhale. Thank God. Trust God. Repeat.
