A Sweet, sweet family allowed us the use of their lake house for a
full week with our family and extended family. Granddaddy made the long
trip, and the Williams crew joined ours.
Because we had two extra kids, this totaled 12 kids, five adults...at a lake that was over 20 feet deep off the dock, deeper I think, and REALLY deep further out. This meant rules. Everyone had to wear life vests on the dock, even adults. This worked out well and we didn't have any problems or scares.
Paddleboats, kayaks, tubes, etc. This week was loaded with fun.
Devos in the morning, or night, or whenever the time came.

The back yard and hammock that the kids played in for hours!
Lots of swimming of course.
Lots of swimming of course.
It was a bit cold, but I took the plunge.
Ducks swam with us. Or we swam with them.
Kayaking fun. Eventually we let the kids go it alone. With Adults on the dock, of course.
Shiloh and Tobin.
Sophia, Bella or maybe that is Anna, and Izza.
The older kid crew paddleboating.
Baby Asa and Baby Gabrielle did not get in the water all week. They were either napping, or in the exesaucer on the dock, or stroller, or swing.
The tube was brought out for fun off the dock, though we didn't have a boat, this was still fun. Lots of games were made up and competitions lost and won.
